Make it stand out
The last month of the year is one of the most beautiful, and busiest times of the year. We, in the form of thoughtful gifts --- monetary, physical, and that of time spent, show our love and good cheer toward others. Some may choose to pay it forward with the thought of the Christ Child, while others choose more obvious ways. We “love our neighbors as ourselves” as the Bible says, and we show that gratitude in many, often, unique forms.

Being grateful is what the month of November is about. It’s not just autumn with beautiful leaves in many parts of the country and snow in others, we have 30 days to show appreciation. Thanksgiving is our inspiration.

Juneteenth, commemorated on June 19th, is another historical celebration in June. The ending of slavery for all, primarily African-American slaves in the United States in 1865, has now been named as a federal holiday.
