Bay Area Graduation Videography & Commencement Livestreaming

From sunlit high school football stadiums and outdoor amphitheaters to packed university arenas and middle school gymnasiums, graduation day is one of the most important milestones in a student's life. Since 1985, CA&C Video Productions has partnered with principals, activities directors, colleges, and parent associations across the San Francisco Bay Area to deliver multi-camera graduation videography and HD commencement livestreaming.

We make sure every family member—whether cheering from the top row of the bleachers or watching live from across the country—hears every name called and sees every graduate walk across the stage in crystal-clear HD.

Why Bay Area Schools & Universities Trust CA&C Video Productions

Filming a commencement ceremony for hundreds or thousands of graduates requires specialized live-event production gear and decades of outdoor stadium experience:

Multi-Camera Stadium, Arena & Gymnasium Coverage

A single camera from the back of the field misses the emotion of graduation day. We deploy manned multi-camera setups featuring a wide master stage view paired with dedicated close-up cameras positioned right at the diploma handoff and podium. When a student's name is called, our cameras capture their walk across the stage, the handshake, and the smile.

Direct PA Soundboard Audio (Wind-Proof Speech & Name Capture)

Outdoor Bay Area stadiums are notorious for afternoon wind and crowd cheering that ruin standard camera microphones. We coordinate directly with your school's sound engineer or AV crew to plug straight into the PA soundboard via balanced XLR audio feeds, while using backup ambient microphones to capture the roar of the crowd and the school band.

Reliable HD Commencement Livestreaming (Even Without School Wi-Fi)

Grandparents, military family members, and out-of-state relatives shouldn't miss graduation day. Because most high school football fields and outdoor stadiums lack reliable Wi-Fi, we bring our own self-contained cellular hotspot and bonded streaming equipment to broadcast your ceremony live in 1080p HD to YouTube, Vimeo, or a custom school link.

Live Screen Feeds (IMAG) & Custom School Graphics

Using a Jumbotron or large LED video wall at your venue? We can provide a live switched camera feed for your stadium screens, complete with custom lower-third titles displaying your school crest, speaker names, and class year.

Flexible Booking Options for Schools, Districts & Parents

Every school budget is different, so we offer two simple ways to bring professional graduation coverage to your campus:

2. Parent Pre-Order & Booster Program (Low or Zero Cost to the School): We provide your administration with a custom online ordering link and parent flyer templates. Families can pre-order digital downloads, USB flash drives, or keepsake copies directly from us—and we can even structure a revenue-share fundraiser for your Senior Class, PTA, or Grad Nite committee.

Trusted by Bay Area Universities & High Schools (Including 4 Consecutive Years Filming Stanford University's Black Graduation)

When universities, school districts, and commencement committees across the San Francisco Bay Area need broadcast-quality graduation coverage, they rely on CA&C Video Productions:

• Stanford University Black Graduation (4 Consecutive Years): For the past five+ consecutive years, Stanford University has trusted CA&C Video Productions to film and preserve their annual Black Graduation ceremony—capturing every keynote address, stole presentation, cultural tribute, and graduate walk across the stage in crisp multi-camera 1080p HD.

• University Departmental, Cultural & Affinity Graduations: Beyond main stadium commencements, we specialize in filming university department hooding ceremonies, law and medical school commencements, and cultural/affinity graduations across the Bay Area (including Stanford, UC Berkeley, Cal State East Bay, SFSU, SJSU, and community colleges).

• Dedicated On-Staff Stadium Audio Engineers (CA&C Audio Productions): Outdoor football stadiums and echoing gymnasiums are notoriously difficult for audio. Through our sister company, CA&C Audio Productions, our crew includes dedicated audio engineers on staff who patch directly into your stadium PA soundboard and deploy wind-protected backup microphones at the podium—ensuring every graduate's name is heard clearly by family watching around the world.

Frequently Asked Questions (Graduation Videography & Livestreaming)

Can you livestream an outdoor high school graduation on a football field with no Wi-Fi?

Yes! Most high school football stadiums and outdoor amphitheaters do not have reliable Wi-Fi. CA&C Video Productions brings our own dedicated cellular hotspot and broadcasting equipment so your graduation livestream stays smooth and stable in 1080p HD anywhere in the Bay Area.

How do you capture clear audio of speeches and graduate names at windy outdoor stadiums?

Instead of relying on camera microphones that pick up wind and crowd noise, we connect directly into your graduation PA system or audio mixer via XLR feeds. Every valedictorian speech, musical performance, and graduate name reading is recorded crystal-clear.

Do you offer both school-funded packages and parent order options?

Yes. Schools and districts can book a flat-rate commencement filming and livestreaming package where every family receives access, or we can set up an online parent ordering portal where families purchase individual digital downloads or keepsake copies directly.

How early should our school reserve a date for May or June graduation season?

Because Bay Area high school and college graduations are heavily concentrated across just three weeks in late May and early June, our multi-camera crews book up quickly. We recommend contacting us as early in the school year as possible to lock in your commencement date.
